tṛṇapāṇirjapetsūktuṃ rakṣoghnaṃ dasyunbhirvṛtaḥ /
ye ke ca umetyṛcaṃ japtvā dīrghamāyurāpnuyāt(1) //
Holding grass in hand, surrounded by bandits, he should recite the demon-slaying hymn. / Having recited the verse “ye ke ca uma,” he attains long life.
