vaśyakarmaṇi śākhoḍhavāsāpāmārgameva ca /
viṣāsṛṅmiśrasamidho vyādhighātasya bhārgava //
In rites of subjugation, [he should use] śākhoṭaka, vāsā, and apāmārga; / for the destruction of disease, O descendant of Bhṛgu, [he should offer] fuel-sticks mixed with poison and blood.
