ākuñcayet pūrvamudrāṃ dakṣiṇepyevameva ca /
ūrdhvāṅguṣṭho vāmamuṣṭhirmudrāsiddhistato bhavet //
One should contract the previous gesture, and similarly with the right [hand] as well: / the left fist with the thumb upright—thence comes success with the ritual gestures.
