puṣkara uvāca
sāmnāṃ vidhānaṃ kathitaṃ vakṣye cātharvaṇāmatha /
śāntātīyaṃ gaṇaṃ hutvā śāntimāpnoti mānavaḥ //
Puṣkara said: / The ritual procedure for the Sāmans has been declared, and now I shall speak of the Atharvan hymns. / Having offered the Śāntātīya group into the fire, a man attains peace.
