ākāśe ca tathā cordhve sthaṇḍilāya kṣitau tathā /
divā divācarebhyaś ca rātrau rātricareṣu ca //
and likewise above in the sky, and on the ground to the sacrificial ground; / by day to those who roam by day, and at night to those who roam at night.
