caturbhiḥ kalasaiḥ snānanteṣu sarvauṣādhau kṣipet /
aśvasthānādgajasthānādvalmīkāt saṅgamāddhradāt //
the bath is performed with four jars; into them he should put all herbs, / and earth from a horse-stable, from an elephant-stable, from an anthill, from a confluence, and from a deep pool.
