saṃskṛtya mūrtyā saṃyojya(1) netre baddhvā pradarśayet /
puṣpapūrṇāñjalīṃstatra kṣipettannāma yojayet //
consecrating them, joining them with the icon, and blindfolding their eyes, he should present them; / they should cast folded hands full of flowers there, and he should assign their name.
