gāṇḍīrāccaiva gāndhāraḥ pañca jānapadāstataḥ /
gāndhārāḥ keralāścolāḥ pāṇḍyāḥ kolā(3) mahābalāḥ //
And from Gāṇḍīra came Gāndhāra; from him arose five peoples: / the Gāndhāras, Keralas, Colas, Pāṇḍyas, and the mighty Kolas.
