svacchamalpauṣadhaṃ kvāthaṃ kaṣāyañcoktavadbhavet /
akṣaṃ cūrṇasya nirdiṣṭaṃ kaṣāyasya catuṣpalaṃ //
A clear decoction with little medicine and an astringent drink are as described; / an akṣa is declared for a powder, and four palas for a decoction.
