acyutañcāmṛtaṃ mantraṃ saṅgrāme cāparājitaḥ /
jalatāre nārasiṃhaṃ pūrvādau kṣemakāmavān //
And "Acyuta" is the deathless mantra; and in battle one is undefeated [by reciting it]. / In crossing water, one desiring safety [should recite] "Nārasimha" at the beginning, toward the east, and so forth.
