dhanvantarir uvāca
aśvavāhanasārañca vakṣye cāśvacikitsanam /
vājināṃ saṃgrahaḥ kāryo dharmakamārthasiddhaye //
Dhanvantari said: / I shall declare the essence of horsemanship and the medical treatment of horses. / Acquisition of steeds should be made for the accomplishment of virtue, pleasure, and wealth.
