Agnipurāṇa 287.20

karṇajāpantataḥ kṛtvā vimuhya ca tathā pyarīn(1) /
paryānayeddhayaṃ sādī vahayedyuddhato jayaḥ //
Then, having performed the whispered recitation in its ear, and thus confusing the enemies,
the rider should saddle the horse and ride it; from battle comes victory.
