kṣīraṃ vā pañcakolādyaṃ kāśanāddhi pramucyate /
praskandheṣu ca sarveṣu śreya ādau viśodhaṇam //
or milk cooked with the five spices: then it is indeed freed from cough. / In all cases of severe diarrhea, purgation is beneficial at first.
