viprebhyo dakṣiṇāndadyānnaimittikamataḥ śṛṇu /
makarādau hayānāñca padmair viṣṇuṃ śriyaṃ yajet //
One should give a sacrificial fee to Brahmins. Now hear the occasional [rite].
At the entrance [of the sun] into Capricorn and other [astrological occasions], one should worship Viṣṇu and Śrī with lotuses for the sake of horses,
