ṣaṭtriṃśatkoṣṭhakaiḥ padmaṃ pīṭhaṃ paṅktyāvahirbhavet /
dvābhyāntu vīthikā tasmād dvābhyāṃ dvārāṇi dikṣu ca //
The lotus consists of thirty-six compartments; outside it, in a row, is the seat; / next is a pathway of two [rows], and in the cardinal directions are doors measuring two [compartments].
