sthaṇḍile kamale madhye viṣṇuṃ lakṣmīñca keśare /
brahmāṇaṃ bhāskaraṃ pṛthvīṃ yajet skandaṃ hy anantakaṃ //

on an earthen altar, inside a lotus, one should worship Viṣṇu in the center and Lakṣmī on the pericarp;
Brahmā, the Sun, the Earth, Skanda, and Ananta;
