siddhādīn kalpayedevaṃ siddhātyantaguṇair api(1) /
siddhe siddho japāt sādhyo japapūjāhutādinā(2) //
Thus one should determine the accomplished and the rest, even by the extreme qualities of the accomplished:
for an accomplished practitioner, [the mantra] is accomplished through recitation; the 'to-be-accomplished' through recitation, worship, fire oblation, and the like.
