tadanvayāḥ pañcaśataṃ tebhyo jātā asaṃkhyakāḥ /
phaṇimaṇḍalirājīlavātapittakaphātmakāḥ //
Their lineage consists of five hundred, and innumerable ones were born from them. / Hooded, circulatory, and striped [snakes] consist of wind, bile, and phlegm [respectively].
