agnir uvāca
śayyā tu daṇḍisājeśapāvakaś caturānanaḥ /
sarvārthasādhakamidaṃ vījaṃ piṇḍārthamucyate //
Agni said:
Śayyā, then Daṇḍin, the fire of Īśa with goats, and the four-faced [Brahmā]—
this seed-syllable, which accomplishes all ends, is stated for the purpose of the piṇḍa.
