hastābhiṣekaṃ kṛtvātha prāyāt pūjādikaṃ budhaḥ /
mūlenābjāsanaṃ kuryāttena pūrakakumbhakān //
Having then consecrated his hands, the wise one should proceed to worship and other rites. / He should form the lotus seat with the root-mantra, and with it perform inhalation and retention [of breath].
