nyāsaṃ śiṣye tataḥ kṛtvā taṃ pradakṣiṇamānayet /
paścimadvāramānīya kṣepayet kusumāñjalim //
Then, having performed the ritual deposition upon the pupil, he should lead him in a clockwise circumambulation; / having brought him to the western door, he should have him throw a handful of flowers.
