lavaṇāmalakaṃ varjyaṃ nāgādityatithau kramāt /
pāyasāśī japet sūktaṃ śriyastenābhiṣecayet //
Salt and myrobalan are to be avoided on the fifth and seventh lunar days, respectively. / Subsisting on milk-rice, one should recite the hymn of Śrī and perform aspersion with it.
