yavair dhānyaistilaiḥ sarvasiddhirītivināśanam /
akṣair unmattatā śatroḥ śālmalībhiś ca māraṇam //
Through barley, grains, and sesame, one attains all perfections and the destruction of calamities; / through akṣa fruits comes madness of the enemy, and death through śālmali flowers.
