mallikābhiḥ purakṣobhaḥ kumudair janavar labhaḥ /
aśokaiḥ putralābhaḥ syāt pāṭalābhiḥ śubhāṅganā //
Through mallikā jasmines comes the agitation of a city, and through white water-lilies one becomes beloved of the people; / through aśoka blossoms one obtains a son, and through pāṭalā flowers an auspicious woman.
