gajavaktrāya kavacaṃ hūṃ phaḍantaṃ tathāṣṭakaṃ /
mahodaro daṇḍahastaḥ pūrvādau madhyato yajet //
for Gajavaktra, the armour ending in ‘hūṃ phaṭ’, and likewise the eightfold [deities]: / Mahodara holding a staff in hand, worshipping from the east onward, and in the centre.
