karṇikā pītavarṇā syāt keśarāṇi tathā punaḥ /
maṇḍalaṃ vighnamardākhyaṃ madhye gaṇapatiṃ yajet //
The pericarp should be yellow, and likewise the filaments; / this is the maṇḍala named Vighnamarda, in the center of which one should worship Gaṇapati.
