īśvara uvāca
astrayāgaḥ purā kāryaḥ sarvakarmasu siddhidaḥ /
madhye pūjyaṃ śivādyastraṃ vajrādīn pūrvataḥ kramāt //
The Lord said: / The sacrifice to weapons should be performed first; it grants success in all rites. / In the center, the weapon of Śiva or others is to be worshipped, and the vajra and others in the east in sequence.
