ādau siddhaḥ sthito mantre tadante tadvadeva hi /
madhye ripusahasrāṇi na doṣāya bhavanti hi //
If a siddha is stationed at the beginning of the mantra and likewise at its end, / thousands of enemies in the middle indeed cause no harm.
