caruñca śrapayedagnau brahmāṇaṃ dakṣiṇe nyaset /
kuśānāstīrya pūrvādau paridhīn sthāpayettataḥ //
He should cook the sacrificial porridge on the fire and place Brahmā to the south. / Having spread kuśa grass in the east and other directions, he should then lay down the enclosure sticks.
