udvegajanako doṣaḥ sabhyānāṃ sa ca saptadhā /
vaktṛvācakavācyānāmekadvitriniyogataḥ //
Agni said: / A fault is that which causes distress to cultured critics; and it is sevenfold, / through the application of one, two, or all three of speaker, expression, and the expressed.
