gandhādibhiḥ samabhyarcya gandhapuṣpākṣatādimat /
viṣṇutejobhavetyādimūlena harayerpayet //
Having worshiped with perfume and other offerings, endowed with perfume, flowers, unbroken grains, and the like, / he should offer [it] to Hari with the root mantra beginning with "O born of Viṣṇu's splendor!"
