pañcagavyañcarundantakāṣṭhañcaiva kramādbhavet /
purāṇaśravaṇaṃ stotraṃ paṭhan jāgaraṇaṃ niśi //
the five products of the cow, the sacrificial porridge, and the tooth-stick should be [placed] in order. / Hearing Purāṇas, reciting hymns, and keeping vigil during the night [should be observed].
