gaṅgāyāṃ gho ṣo vasati aupacārikamīdṛśaṃ /
tṛtīyā vātha vā ṣaṣṭhī smṛtānabhihite tathā //
'The cowherd settlement dwells on the Gaṅgā'—such is the figurative. / And when unexpressed, the third or the sixth [case] is taught, likewise:
