kartari ktādayo jñeyā bhāve karmaṇi ca kvacit /
gato grāmaṃ gato grāma āśliṣṭaś ca gurustvayā //

Suffixes such as kta are to be known in the sense of the agent, and sometimes in the sense of action or object:
‘he has gone to the village’ (gato grāmam), ‘the village is gone to’ (gato grāmaḥ), and ‘the guru has been embraced by you’ (āśliṣṭaś ca gurus tvayā).
