rasastu prāṇināṃ dehe jīvanaṃ rudhiraṃ tathā /
lepanañca tathā māṃsamedhasnehakarantu tat //
The chyle indeed [provides] nourishment in the body of living beings, and blood [provides] life; / and flesh provides plastering, while fat creates unctuousness.
