sa jivo nābhyadhiṣṭānaścālyate mātariśvanā /
bādhyamāṇaścānayate aṣṭāṅgāḥ prāṇavṛttikāḥ //
that soul, seated in the navel, is shaken by the wind; / being afflicted, it brings along the eight limbs consisting of the functions of the vital breaths.
