caturthī strī surā jñeyā yayedaṃ mohitaṃ jagat /
mādyati pramadāṃ dṛṣṭvā surāṃ pītvā tu mādyati //
Woman is to be known as a fourth liquor, by which this world is intoxicated;
one is intoxicated simply by looking upon a woman, whereas one is intoxicated [only] by drinking liquor.
