śarīraṃ rathamityāhurindriyāṇyasya vājinaḥ /
manaś ca sārathiḥ proktaḥ prāṇāyāmaḥ kaśaḥ(2)smṛtaḥ //
They say the body is a chariot; its horses are the senses; / the mind is called the charioteer, and breath control is remembered as the whip.
