surendrakanyā ity ādyā guṇāś ca pratibhādayaḥ /
tṛṇavattāntyajed yastu tasya viṣṇuḥ prasīdati //
Daughters of Indra and the like, and qualities beginning with intuitive brilliance: / whoever casts them aside like a piece of straw, with him Viṣṇu is pleased.
