tacca viṣṇoḥ paraṃ rūpamarūpasyājamakṣaraṃ /
aśakyaṃ prathamaṃ dhyātumato mūrtādi cintayet //
And that is the supreme form of Viṣṇu, who is formless, unborn, and imperishable; / it is impossible to meditate upon it at first, therefore one should contemplate [him] as possessing form, etc.
