jihvā bravītyahamiti dantauṣṭhau tālukaṃ nṛpa /
ete nāhaṃ yataḥ sarve vāṅnipādanahetavaḥ //
The tongue says 'I', as do the teeth, the lips, and the palate, O king; / these are not 'I', since all of them are merely the causes that produce speech.
