nidādhaṛtusaṃvādaṃ vadāmi dvija taṃ śṛṇu(1) /
ṛturbrahmasuto jñānī tacchiṣyo 'bhūt pulastyajaḥ //
I shall relate the dialogue of Nidāgha and Ṛtu; listen to it, O brāhmaṇa. / Ṛtu was a wise son of Brahmā, and the son of Pulastya became his disciple.
