agnir uvāca
vāsudevādyālayasya kṛtau vakṣye phalādikaṃ /
cikīrṣordevadhāmādi sahasrajanipāpanut //
Agni said: / I shall explain the fruit and further [benefits] in the construction of an abode for Vāsudeva and other deities. / Even desiring to build a divine dwelling and the like destroys sins of a thousand births.
