devādyarthe hatānāñca raṇe yattatphalādikaṃ /
śāṭhyena pāṃśunā vāpi kṛtaṃ dhāma ca nākadaṃ //
Whatever fruit and benefits belong to those slain in battle for the sake of the gods and the like, / an abode built even in deceit or with dust bestows heaven.
