na hi kalyāṇakṛt kaściddurgatiṃ tāta gacchati /
devī hy eṣā guṇamayī mama māyā duratyayā //
For no one who does good goes to a bad state, my dear friend. / For this divine māyā of mine, composed of the gunas, is hard to overcome.
