agnir uvāca
yamagītāṃ pravakṣyāmi uktā yā nāciketase /
paṭhatāṃ śṛṇvatāṃ bhuktyai muktyai mokṣārthināṃ satāṃ //
Agni said: / I shall declare the Song of Yama, which was spoken to Naciketas, / for the worldly enjoyment and liberation of good people who read and listen, who seek liberation.
