yajñeśaṃ yajñapuruṣaṃ kecidicchanti tatparaṃ /
kecidviṣṇuṃ haraṃ kecit kecid brahmāṇamīśvaraṃ //
Some desire that supreme [deity] as the Lord of sacrifice, the Spirit of sacrifice; / some as Viṣṇu, some as Hara, some as Brahmā the Lord;
