kṛtvā nidhāpayedgarbhaṃ garbhādhānaṃ bhavenniśi /
govastrādi pradadyācca guravenyeṣu bhojanaṃ //
Having performed [these rites], one should lay the foundation deposit; the laying of the foundation deposit should take place at night. / One should give cows, clothing, and other gifts to the guru, and food to the others.
