skandhabhagnaṃ na kartavyaṃ vikarālaṃ tathaiva ca /
ūrdhvaṃ ca vedikāmānāt kalaśaṃ parikalpayet //
It must not be made with a broken shoulder, nor terrifyingly distorted; / and above the measure of the altar platform, he should design the pot-finial.
