Agnipurāṇa 43.12

parvatānāmabhāve ca gṛhṇīyādbhūgatāṃ śilāṃ /
pāṇḍarā hy aruṇā pītā kṛṣṇā śastā tu vairṇināṃ //
In the absence of mountains, one may take a stone found in the earth. / White, red, yellow, and black stones are commended for the four social classes.
